LONDON – Great Britain’s Prince George is set to be baptized next month.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will have their son christened on Oct. 23 at The Chapel Royal, St. James Palace.

According to People.com , Prince George will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, Most Reverend Justin Welby during a private service. The chapel site is where William’s mother, Princess Diana, was laid at rest for a week following her death in a Paris car crash in 1997.

The location of the service is another break for tradition for Prince William and his wife, the former Kate Middleton. Buckingham Palace is where Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Prince William were baptized.

Prince George was born in July and is third in line to the British throne.

There has been no official announcement naming a set of godparents.
