Because Denver and Seattle are still alive the Browns cannot pursue two assistant coaches they have on their short list of coaching candidates.
Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase remains off limits, he has said he would not do any interviews until after they were done playing. Seattle’s Dan Quinn cannot return to Cleveland for a second interview either. Quinn did talk with the Browns a few weeks ago, he was the first candidate they interviewed, but they want a second interview.
