CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Foundation will provide free admission to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo this month as part of its centennial gift to the community.
Saturday, April 26, the zoo and the Rainforest will be free for everyone — the first free weekend day at the zoo in nearly 20 years.
Special programming at the zoo that day will focus on sustainability and conservation, the Foundation said. Zoogoers are encouraged to bike, carpool, walk or ride public transit that day.
