When it rains, it downpours on Columbus Short. The former “Scandal” star is about to be sued by a man who claims Short beat him up in a bar brawl. The two were in talks to settle the matter out of court. However, Short rescinded his offer once “Scandal” sent him packing.
According to the victim’s lawyer, Columbus Short originally offered a nice pay out to settle with the alleged bar brawl victim. However, when Shonda Rhimes dropped Short from the hit ABC drama, the settlement offer was snatched of the table citing the actor’s once flowing stream of income has become Sahara Desert dry.
The victim was asking for hundreds of thousands of dollars to cover his medical expenses which include an upcoming surgery to fix the facial fractures he sustained during the fight. The victim also is asking to be compensated for his pain and suffering. The victim plans to serve Columbus Short with the suit as early as this upcoming Friday.
