Jermaine Dupri & R. Kelly Lose Their Homes

Jermaine Dupri and R. Kelly appear to be facing some financial difficulty. According to reports, JD’s Atlanta home was sold after many attempts at foreclosure by the bank. TheJasmineBrand reports a notice of sale was filed by the owner of the deed.
In related news, R, Kelly also lost his home due to foreclosure. Kelly tried to sell the home back in 2011, but was unsuccessful. Kelly’s home was sold back to the bank for $950,000 (Kelly originally took out a $3.5 million loan to purchase the mansion). While the bank is in possession of the home, Kelly is still responsible for the unpaid mortgage payments. Last month, Kelly was slapped with a $2,922,202.99 judgement and ordered to pay what he owed.
Just in time for the holidays.
