Rihanna is the world’s top streamed woman based on Spotify data analysis, according to The Hollywood Reporter. That’s a global statistic, but the numbers are different when analyzing the U.S. figures. Lana Del Rey, Beyonce and Katy Perry top that list. Still, there are other categories that were released to show how female artists are being streamed by the world.
The numbers shift, for example, when analyzing them by the gender of the listener. For instance, Beyonce is the all-time most streamed woman by all of the world’s women on Spotify. She’s followed by Katy Perry and Lana Del Rey with Rihanna and Ariana Grande rounding out the top five. However, Perry is actually the top streamed woman by men worldwide with Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Ariana Grande and Rihanna following. Those figures also change when analyzing just U.S. data.
