Violence leaves Cleveland neighbors with PTSD symptoms

CLEVELAND – Sonja Smith-Clemons said violence on Cleveland streets has made life difficult.

“Maybe I’m just paranoid at this point,” said Smith-Clemons. “I’ve been shot at. I would advise my kids not to wear certain colors. It was basically wearing all black.”

She said her feelings are similar to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Syndrome symptoms.

“I never know if someone is going to run up behind me,” said Smith- Clemons.
