CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

A spokesperson with Cleveland Public Power said electrical overload due to excessive heat caused power outages on the city’s West Side on Sunday and Monday.

Hundreds of customers were affected on Sunday in the area from W. 100th through W. 112th.

Power was restored on Sunday before midnight.

Power went out again early Monday morning and was restored around 12:30 p.m.
