Love food? Then head to Boston this weekend for the Great American Food and Music Fest. America’s favorite food and boo-lovin’ couple. Pat and Gina Neely will be there among several other famous food masters.

Southern cooking star Paula Deen, who actually brought the Neelys to the attention of Food Network, will be there, as well as popular cake master Duff Goldman of “Ace of Cakes” and Philadelphia cheesesteak expert Tony Luke.

The big eatin’ takes place on Saturday, June 26 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts from 12 noon to 10:30 p.m.

Participating restaurants from around the country include Al’s Beef (Chicago, IL), Goldie’s Churros (Los Angeles, CA), Hell’s Kitchen (Minneapolis, MN), Jim’s Steaks  (Philadelphia, PA), Junior’s Cheesecake (Brooklyn, NY), Maine Diner (Wells, ME), Pizzeria Uno (Chicago, IL), Southside Market BBQ  (Elgin, TX), Ted Drewes Custard (St. Louis, MO), Windy City Eats (East Weymouth, MA), Tony Luke’s (Philly, PA), Turtle Alley (Gloucester, MA), All-Star Sandwich Bar (Cambridge, MA), Tucson Tamales (Tucson, AZ) and Zoe’s Cupcake Café, a non-profit bakery benefitting teen mothers in Teaneck, New Jersey.

And of course, with good food goes good drink, so wine expert Gary Vaynerchuk will provide his expertise in the wine and beer tasting area for those interested in food pairings or just a good glass of wine or beer.

While food is definitely the primary attraction, music is part of the festival as well. Buckwheat Zydeco will be performing, along with “American Idol” finalist Melinda Doolittle, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes and more.

Admission pricing and food pricing are separate, so make sure you take enough funds to do both.
