About Kym Sellers

With a career that spans more than two decades, Kym Sellers is a staple in Cleveland Radio. Listeners tune in each night to hear her up close and personal style that has graced WZAK’s airwaves for 20 years.
Kym made her radio debut on 88.1 WAUP while in college at the University of Akron. After graduating with a B.A. in Mass Media Communications, Kym moved to Seattle, WA and worked for KTZZ TV. In 1994, she joined WZAK-FM as one third of the popular Three’s Company Moring Show. In 2000, Kym made the transition to nights to host the Quiet Storm, a position she still dominates today.
Kym’s work in broadcasting has not gone unrecognized. In 2012 and 2013, she was nominated for NAB’s Marconi Award. She is also the recipient of The Cleveland Association of Broadcasters 2013 Excellence in Radio Award.
Kym is also a fighter. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in1992, she works tirelessly to raise funds for the disease. In 2000, she launched the Kym Sellers Foundation which raises $150,000+ annually to assist MS patients.
