Oprah Winfrey will get another emotional visit from the past… but not from a long-lost relative.
The talk show host will reunite with Iyanla Vanzant, an inspirational speaker and spiritual life coach who was featured regularly on The Oprah Winfrey Show in the late ’90s, in the days before Dr. Phil McGraw. Vanzant is one of the founders of the Inner Vision spiritual workshop along with her daughter, Gemmia Vanzant, who died in 2003 of cancer.

Like many of Winfrey’s featured protégés, Vanzant looked poised to become the next big household name, but after six months of hosting the Iyanla talk show, it was canceled and then… nothing. On Wednesday’s episode, Vanzant is back to hash out what went wrong and her estrangement from Winfrey.
