This story just makes my skin boil. So a black woman says she was hired at a restaurant /bar outside of Atlanta called “The Tilted Kilt”. She says she was fired because she was too dark. WTF!

A black woman claims she was hired by a Roswell restaurant and bar, but then fired before she started work because of the color of her skin.

According to a federal lawsuit filed Monday by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Najla Salaam completed hertraining to work as a server, but was never scheduled to work and allegedly told that too many black women had already been hired.

Now a former general manager at the restaurant told the EEOC that he was told to fire Salaam because she was African-American and too dark. Because the general manager objected to the owner’s instruction to fire employees based on race, he was also fired, the EEOC said Monday.

The EEOC said it filed the lawsuit against the eatery after first attempting to reach a settlement.

So what do you think?
