AVON, OH (WOIO) –
Former Browns players traded their helmets for golf clubs on Friday.
Players kicked off alumni weekend with a golf outing at Avon Oaks Country Club.
Hall of Famer Jim Brown was at the event. He talked about politics, the Browns star running back Trent Richardson and the possibility of putting a dome on Browns Stadium.
Brown’s tumultuous relationship with President Mike Holmgren caused him to severed ties with the team years ago, but now, he’s ready to make amends.
Brown has a meeting with new Browns owner Jimmy Haslam on Saturday to discuss his future with the team.
