It looks as though Miguel is in the clear. That fan he leg dropped by accident “adorns” him.
After millions watched Miguel come crashing down on a fan after leaping over a crowd of people during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards, the question on everyone’s mind was, “Is she okay?” and “Is she going to sue?”
Miguel definitely breathed a sigh of relief when he ran into the girl, named Khyati, backstage and she was all smiles. In an interview, he dished:
I’m very happy to bring my new friend, Khyati, we just met. Unfortunately we did not meet under the best circumstances, but I think we’re okay. The crazy thing is, when you’re performing and you’re just kind of into it, you never know where it’s gonna go and where you’re gonna go with it, and how that might turn out. This is one of the least favorable moments.
When Khyati was asked if she was a big fan of Miguel before he jumped on her, she said:
I ‘adorn’ him.
Miguel did promise to make it up to her. Cheers to free concert tickets for life.
