Police were investigating a scuffle Friday between rapper Kanye West and a cameraman at Los Angeles International Airport, where paparazzi have been known to spend time in hopes of snapping shots of celebrities.
TMZ posted a video ( http://tmz.me/1dKOufQ ) of the tussle, showing West being thronged by cameras while trying to get into a white Mercedes Benz waiting curbside.
According to TMZ the victim wants to press charges against Kanye. Cops will refer the case to the D.A. as a felony attempted robbery and not a battery case. The case has now been transferred to the Robbery Homicide Unit and cops are currently putting a file together. TMZ sources say the case will be referred to the L.A. County D.A. for possible prosecution.
