Dear Tom,

My husband and I were married in a small ceremony on august 15, 2013 in our church rectory with the pastor, our three children, my parents and our bridal party.   We counseled with our pastor previously and because we lived together already we decided to marry to be right in god’s eyes, although I had a wedding planned a year later on July 5, 2014.

I have always dreamed of walking down the aisle with the man I love and have been planning our wedding for over a year.   I have the wedding dress, rented the venue, hired the DJ and photographer; however, we hit a snag paying for the caterer.    We both lost our jobs within a short time of each other and struggled to find new employment, while supporting our family.   Just as we were beginning to bounce back, my husband had an accident on the job and lost a part of his middle finger on his dominate, left hand.  He is now healed and back at work, but this put us financially behind again.

We have 4 weeks until our big day and we are expecting 170 people and we have no food to serve them.  Please, grant my Christmas wish and help us cover the cost of catering, so that our wedding will be memorable.
