Oscar award-winning director Kevin MacDonald is bringing us a Whitney Houston documentary.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, chief creative officer of Sony Music Entertainment Clive Davis will be interviewed for the film. MacDonald had this to say about the late legend: “The story that is never told about Whitney is just how brilliant she was as an artist; by many measures she had the greatest voice of the last 50 years. She changed the way pop music was sung – bringing it back full circle to its blues and gospel roots. She was also completely unique in being a black pop star who sold in countries where black artists don’t traditionally sell.”

If you’re trying to get caught up on Game of Thrones season 6, Black Thought of The Roots has you covered.

During The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon turned the mic over to Black Thought, who rapped over the premiere episode’s beats. From EW:

He started with Jon Snow’s status (“Hey yo, it opens on Jon Snow, who died at the end of season 5 / Lady Melisandre still thinks he’s alive”) and made it all the way to the climactic reveal (“Then Red Lady took the choker off, brother / A-hickey hickey hickey, she’s old as a mother”).

Clearly, Jimmy Fallon is turning the heat up for his show.

Fallon was recently taught how to walk the runaway, courtesy of supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Bundchen is retiring from the modeling scene, but gave the talk show host a few tips before she left for good.

Ryan Seacrest‘s price just went up.

According to the latest reports, the famed television personality has committed to hosting ABC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

THR dishes in an exclusive report: “Ryan Seacrest is staying put at ABC. The prolific producer and host has inked a new deal to continue fronting the network’s long-running ball-drop special, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, for four more years. The pact also keeps Seacrest within the Disney fold as industry rumors swirl that he could be a contender for Michael Strahan’s slot on ABC’s Live! with Kelly and Michael, though ABC brass is said to be waiting for the dust to settle before making any decisions about a replacement.”
