BEREA, OH (WOIO) –

Nobody’s more excited than Josh Gordon about the one-time Pro Bowler’s return to the field, but Robert Griffin III may be a close second. The Browns quarterback has just been given another weapon to work with, and while Gordon’s regular-season

contributions will be on hold for the first month, it’s a start.

Gordon made his training camp debut on Monday, returning from a quad injury, and now looks ahead to teaming back up with his former Baylor teammate, Griffin. RG3 remembers their days in Waco fondly, but says it’s a new day, with new teammates.

“It was fun, a lot of fun”, Griffin said on Monday, talking about the college years. “We had some great games, some great times together and we’re looking forward to really building that here in Cleveland.

It’s not just Josh. It’s not just (WR) Corey (Coleman). It’s all the receivers. All of those guys can go out and make plays. It’s just about giving them an opportunity. That’s my job as a quarterback is to give them opportunities to make, plays and I know

they’ll make me right.”
