Three year old Jalen Mattison and 1 year old Amari Mattison, were taken around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning. Jalen was last seen wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, red Thomas the Tank Engine shirt and blue jeans. Amari was wearing a brown and pink hooded sweatshirt, pink pants, and brown shirt.
The mother of the children reported that she was assisted by the suspect after her car broke down in Dekalb County on I-20 near Wesley Chapel Road.
As the mom made arrangements to have her car towed, the suspect drove away with her children. The mother told police she does not know the suspect.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, 5’10″, thin, wearing a light brown or tan baseball hat and a plaid button down shirt. He is said to be driving a 2000-2005 hunter green Jeep Cherokee.
